Planetary Garden
Badia Greenhouse
Progetto realizzato dagli studenti: Fiumara Elia, Puzzi Marco della classe 4A CAT
For Leno Council we have designed an eco-sustainable Greenhouse and a vegetable garden where to grow edible flowers and herbs. We named our Greenhouse "Badia" because it is located in a green area behind Villa Badia in Leno (Brescia).
Our Greenhouse is in steel and PE (solid plastic material). We used steel because it is strong and corrosion resistant. We used PE because it is lighter and cheaper than glass and it has the same graduation of reflection.
In our Greenhouse we grow carrots, beans, peas, cauliflowers, tomatoes, potatoes, pumpkins and zucchini.
We grow herbs likes rosemary, sage, mint and basil and edible flowers like dandelions, sunflowers, and dog roses.
